Shirley A. Miller, age 76 of Mishicot, peacefully entered eternal life on Friday, July 22, 2022, with her family at her side.
Shirley was born in Kewaunee on September 17, 1945 to Walter and Wilma (Senkbiel) Drumm, Sr. She graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1965, and later attended culinary school at Fox Valley Tech. Shirley worked at Mirro Aluminum for a number of years, and later worked as a cook at several area restaurants including the K-City Diner and Cedar Ridge Restaurant. On May 6, 1967, she married William "Bill" Miller in Manitowoc. Together, the couple owned & operated a veal farm for many years. Bill preceded her in death on October 10, 1996. Shirley enjoyed cooking, and especially enjoyed the weekly card games with her girlfriends.
She is survived by her three children: Roger (Laura) Miller of Two Rivers, Allen Miller (special friend, Carrie) of Manitowoc, and Susan (Tom) Moder of Mishicot; six grandchildren: Ashley (Caleb) Andre, Benjamin Miller (special friend, Taylor), Brad Miller, Stephanie (Mike) Hastreiter, Katelyn Moder, Kyle Moder; and two great-grandchildren, Arlo and Asher Andre. She is further survived by a brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Paul and Judy Miller of Manitowoc, and Linda Miller of Brillion; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Wilma Drumm, Sr.; husband, Bill Miller; father-in-law & mother-in-law, John and Lola Miller; one brother, Walter Drumm, Jr., one infant brother; and four sisters & six brothers-in-law: Dorothy and Robert Tracy, Violet and Jim Hucek, Elsie and Donald Pigeon, Ruth and James Branch, James Miller and David Miller.
A visitation for Shirley will be held on Sunday, July 31st, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, 344 S. State Street, Mishicot. There will be no formal funeral service held. Burial will take place in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.
