Shirley A. Steinhauer, age 86, lifelong resident of Two Rivers, passed away peacefully Friday morning, July 1, 2022 at her residence.
Shirley was born in Two Rivers on September 28, 1935 to Roland and Theresa (Spaeth) Beth. She attended St. Luke's Catholic Grade School and graduated from Washington High School with the class of '54. On October 15, 1955 she married Richard "Dick" Steinhauer at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2015. Shirley worked for the Carron Net Company for over 40 years until her retirement in 2005. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Peter the Fisherman; "The Club" (since grade school); and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers. She treasured the time spent with her family, and especially enjoyed attending all of her grandchildren's activities.
Survivors include two sons & daughters-in-law, Steven (Lisa) Steinhauer of Two Rivers and Robert (Nancy) Steinhauer of Necedah; her grandchildren: Jake and Elicia Steinhauer, Dr. Cody Steinhauer (fiancee, Jenn Richardson), Ani Steinhauer, Austin Steinhauer (significant other, Sammy Roth) and her children, Ross and Asher; four great-grandchildren: Brody Steinhauer, Liam Steinhauer, Walker & Beau Clarksen; and one brother, Roy Beth of Two Rivers. She is further survived by brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law: Marion Prust, Donald and Lillian Steinhauer, Carol Valinski (special friend, Oren Kaminski); along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Theresa Beth; husband, Richard; one infant son, Lee; a great-grandson, Keaten Clarksen; and a sister-in-law, LaVerne Beth.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2022 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Dave Pleier, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Thursday morning from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.
