Kathleen C. "Kathy" Myers, age 87, longtime Two Rivers resident, passed away early Wednesday morning, December 11, 2024 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers, surrounded by her loving family.

Kathy was born in Milwaukee on February 11, 1937 to George and Marguerite (Kulzick) Carnachan. She was a 1954 graduate of Shorewood High School, then furthered her education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she earned a degree in Speech Pathology in 1958. She was united in marriage to Robert E. Myers on June 22, 1957 and together they raised four children. Robert preceded her in death April 24, 2018. Kathy worked as a speech therapist at care facilities, St. Luke's Catholic School, and with many individuals in their homes. She was a longtime member of the Manitowoc Kennel Club, the American Kennel Club (AKC), and for many years raised, bred, and showed Collies throughout the country, earning many prestigious awards. Kathy was a great cook and phenomenal baker which she shared with her family and friends; and cherished the time spent at their cottage in Door County. Together, she and Bob built a foundational Legacy for their family to enjoy for many generations to come. Above all, Kathy was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her children: Carrie-Ellen (Jeffrey) Redo, Laurie Reardon and former husband, Jack, Michele (Andy) Schmitt, and Timothy (Maria) Myers; twelve grandchildren: Joshua (Theresa) Redo, Kyle (Taylor) Redo, Katie (Nate) Hyde, Elizabeth Reardon, Patrick (Chandler) Reardon, Amanda (Andrew) Schroeder, Tyler (Becky) Schmitt, Eric (Angelica) Schmitt, Casey (Dani) Schmitt, Adam (Tiffany) Myers, Sarah Myers (fiance, Nick) and Chrissy Myers; along with her great-grandchildren: Elliana, Julia, Everett, Callum, Sienna, Caroline, Samuel, Primrose, Alexander, Easton, Everleigh, Benson, Camilla, Cora, Jordan, Kendall, Briggs, Charlotte, Thomas, and another birth expected in January. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Kay Schaus; uncle, George Pfeffer; one niece, one nephew, and her special companion, "Kitten". Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Marguerite Carnachan; her husband, Dr. Robert E. Myers; brother-in-law, Ron Schaus; and her father & mother-in-law, Raymond and Geraldine Pfeffer.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2024 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Pleier, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Monday afternoon from 3:00 until 4:45 p.m.

Special thanks also to the medical staff at Aurora Medical Center 3rd floor, and Aurora Hospice team, especially Jason for the kindness and support extended.
